Bag Lunch Program

Our Bag Lunch program is expanding! With that we need NEW volunteers to make food and drop it off at church as well as 1 – 2 people to come on our days to pack the lunches, drive it all over to Meade Memorial Church and serve it inside starting July 1.

The expansion is a pilot program to return to inside dining starting July 1 at Meade Memorial Church in Old Town. To do this we need:

• 2 or more volunteers to help serve and host
• Volunteers to do the packing at the Meeting House and serving at Meade Memorial

You can sign up today at opmh.org/baglunch to help with:

June 26 – Donate food and Packers/ Servers
July 1 – Donate food
July 2 – Donate food
July 3 – Donate food

Donated Food delivery: Please deliver sandwiches, fruit and cookies to the Elliot House, Heritage Hall kitchen. Mark your donation clearly with “Bag Lunch” and the DATE for which it is intended, by 9:00 AM of the day it will be used so that packing can begin.

Packing and serving: Janet at Meade Memorial would like us there at 11:00 AM with the food. Doors open for lunch at 12:00 PM and close at 1:00 PM. Often there are other volunteers from the community there so you may not always need to stay to serve lunch but it would be helpful to plan on staying if possible.
