This Is not Easy: Finding Your Way Through the Dark

Life doesn’t come with a map, especially when the road gets rough. This fall, join us for a five-week poetic journey through the shadows—where aging, identity, belief, death, and our bond with nature are explored with honesty and heart. We will turn to the psalmists and their vulnerable confession that this is not easy! We will  gather each Wednesday evening from October 15 to November 12, 6:00–8:00 PM, in the Education Building’s Fellowship Hall. We will have a soup and salad dinner and then our study. Whether you’re caring for aging parents, wrestling with belief, or simply seeking light in the dark, this space is for you. Our final night will feature an open mic poetry reading—your voice belongs here.

Poetry is the music of the soul, and, above all, of great and feeling souls. Voltaire

If you’d like to help with dinner, please sign up here.
