All Church Retreat

Join Us for the Meeting House Fall Retreat!

Registration begins on September 8.

Come join us for the All-Church Retreat at beautiful Massanetta Springs! It’s a wonderful way to learn, reflect and build community with others at the Meeting House, while enjoying a relaxing fall weekend in the Shenandoah Valley. The Retreat is for everyone in our congregation: families with kids of all ages, couples and singles. (Childcare is available for the littlest ones.) We’ll enjoy engaging and age-appropriate education, shared meals, Saturday evening entertainment and games, and congregation-led Sunday morning worship.  There is also free time for hiking, reading, napping, crafts – or chatting while rocking on the front porch.

Our guest speaker this year is Dr. Martha Moore-Keish, JB Green Professor of Theology at Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia. Her topic is “Grounded in Grace,” and will explore how we can remain grounded in God’s abiding grace in an era of anxiety, turmoil and ever-accelerating change.

Join us Friday, November 7 through Sunday, November 9 in Massanetta Springs, Virginia. Registration starts at 8 AM on September 8 and goes through October 20.
