All Church Retreat

Join Us for the Meeting House Fall Retreat!

Registration begins on Monday, September 14 at 10:00 AM.

Come join us for the All-Church Retreat at beautiful Massanetta Springs! It’s a wonderful way to learn, reflect and build community with others at the Meeting House, while enjoying a relaxing fall weekend in the Shenandoah Valley. The Retreat is for everyone in our congregation: families with kids of all ages, couples and singles. (Childcare is available for the littlest ones.)

We’ll enjoy engaging and age-appropriate education, shared meals, Friday evening “ice-breaker” activities, Saturday evening entertainment and games, and congregation-led Sunday morning worship. There is also free time for hiking, reading, napping, crafts – or chatting while rocking on the front porch.

Our adult program this year is “Called to Adventure.” We will wrestle with the many ways we are called to be the church today. By exploring the book of Acts and the history of the church, we will meet other “adventurers” who have also asked similar questions and have wisdom to share. Our leader is The Rev. Dr. Buz Wilcoxon, Lassiter Chaplain and Dean of Spiritual Life at Presbyterian College.

Join us Friday, November 6 through Sunday, November 8 in Massanetta Springs, Virginia. Registration starts at 10 AM on Monday, September 14 and goes through Monday, October 19.
