Alexandria Heritage Trail Walk

September 21 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

The Dismantling Racism Team is sponsoring the Alexandria Heritage Trail Walk that will provide an opportunity to learn about African American History of Alexandria, Virginia. This is a great opportunity for adults, youth and families to connect and increase their knowledge of the history of this community. The walk will be led by Laurie Best. Participants will meet on September 21, 2024 at  Waterfront Park, 107 N. Union Street, taking the North Route in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia and ending at the Montgomery and North Fairfax Street. If you have a cell phone, you can bring it along to follow the walk. Each stop will have a description to read. The walk will last about 1 hour.  If you want to participate in the Walk, please RSVP to Jeff Beans. If the tour is cancelled we will notify you with your contact information.
