What Scriptures Say About Courage

October 5 @ 9:30 am - 10:30 am
|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Sunday, repeating until November 2, 2025

Sundays, October 5 – November 9, 9:30-10:30 AM, Elliot House Library
Facilitator: Kelly Johnson

Throughout scripture, God repeatedly offers the encouragement: “Do not be afraid.” The frequency of this biblical invitation suggests God knew that circumstances in our lives and the world often require us to dig deep for courage. Join Kelly Johnson as we explore what it means to be brave in our everyday lives. Using 2 Timothy 1:6 as our theme verse, we will examine facets of courage found in scripture using a BRAVE acronym: Bold, Resilient, Authentic, Vulnerable, Engaged and Empowered. Join us; we are braver together!
