Ann Herlin

Rev. Herlin came to the Meeting House in 2001 after receiving her Master of Divinity degree from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Prior to seminary, she taught first grade for two years in south Texas as part of Teach for America, then spent 16 months teaching English to elementary students in Costa Rica. She received her B.A. from Yale University in 1993.
Currently, Ann works part-time at the Meeting House, and also chairs the personnel committee of National Capital Presbytery. She and her husband, Terry Staley, are the parents of two young children, so she also spends many hours at playgrounds, reading children’s books, and playing with princesses, Legos, and trucks.
