Katherine Stanford

Rev. Stanford arrived at the Meeting House in 2014 after serving churches in Connecticut and New York. Following her first career in the theater, she returned to her Yale alma mater for Divinity School. In addition to congregational care and service and justice work, her passions include recent conflict mediation certification through the Dialogue for Peaceful Change, serving on our National Capital Presbytery’s Commission on Ministry, and doctoral work at the Virginia Theological Seminary in Christian Spirituality. In addition to loving God and her two recent college grads, Katherine delights in being on or near water, taming her garden, and seeing some theater.
