2026 Summer Mission Trip

We’re forming a 12‑person Mission Trip team for June 7–13, 2026 (Coastal Carolina) with CCDRA/New Hope. All skill levels welcome; trade skills (framing, plumbing, electrical) especially helpful. Interested? Contact Dara Surratt, Trip Coordinator.

Tech Team

Our Tech Team supports our Sunday services and other events behind the scene where audio and/or video is requested. Some knowledge of these systems is helpful, but not required. We will train you.

Time commitment: 2-3 hours per event on a rotating basis

Digital Host

Do you love to chat? Our Digital Hosts greet our online worshipers each Sunday. Your job is to chat with those who log in and answer questions. Training is offered.

Time commitment: 2-3 hours per event on a rotating basis

Choir

The Adult Choir leads the music during Sunday worship services from September through May and at special services throughout the year. Our repertoire spans from the earliest chants to newly-composed sacred music, and everything in between.

Time commitment: 2-3 hours per week

Rehearsals

September‒May: Thursday rehearsals from 7:30–9:00 PM.

Knitting Group

Join us to create prayer shawls and a variety of projects including items for the Christmas Alternative Market. The group meets monthly for knitting and fellowship.

Time commitment: 2 hours per month.

Alexandria Tutoring Consortium Tutor

Help kindergarteners and 1st and 2nd graders in reading, one to two days a week, 30-minute sessions, training provided.

Time commitment: 1-2 hours per event on a rotating basis

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels delivers the 4th Friday of every month. Teams of 2 volunteers pick up meals at Jeffrey’s Catering and deliver them to 10 households. It takes less than 2 hours.

Time commitment: 2 hours monthly
