Ann Herlin

Ann Herlin

Associate Pastor

Rev. Herlin began work at the Meeting House on September 10, 2001, a date she has no trouble remembering. As an Associate Pastor here for over two decades, she has been privileged to serve in a variety of ministry roles, and to witness the life of this congregation through a generation. Currently, she works part-time. Over the years, Rev. Herlin has also served on the boards of The Presbyterian Outlook, Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, and The Reformed Institute, and on National Capital Presbytery’s Personnel and Church Development Committees. Prior to attending Austin Seminary, she taught first grade for two years in south Texas as part of Teach for America, then spent 16 months teaching English to elementary students in Costa Rica. She received her B.A. from Yale University.  Rev. Herlin and her husband are the parents of two children, and she enjoys spending time volunteering at their school and helping with their many activities. She also enjoys reading, running, working in the yard, and watching sports.
