Prayer Rug & Textiles Salon and Reception

The Pratts welcome you to their home where they will share a wide variety of prayer carpets and flat weaves, as well as embroideries, other textiles and hats with religious significance from the Muslim, Christian, Jewish and Buddhist faith traditions inspired by the The George Washington University Museum’s and The Textile Museum’s recent exhibition Prayer and Transcendence, which ran from February 18 to July 1, 2023. Light refreshments will be provided.

Roger is a textile enthusiast, collector, and traveler. He serves on the board of The George Washington University Museum and The Textile Museum, and is a past president of New York’s rug and textile group, The Hajji Baba Club.
