Service and Justice Grant Applications Due

The Service and Justice Ministry (S&J) is pleased to announce the opening of our 2026 Service and Justice Grant process. S&J uses a grant process to facilitate its allocation of the service and justice portion of the Meeting House annual operating budget to particular missions and mission partners. We invite our current missions and mission partners as well as new groups serving important needs to submit a grant proposal for our upcoming budget year.

Timeline
Grant period opens–February 1, 2026
Grant proposals due–March 1, 2026
Grant awards selected– March, 2026
Grant funds disbursed–TBD, based on needs of the applicant and availability of funds.

Procedure
All grant applicants must complete a grant proposal and submit it by email to the Service and Justice Ministry by March 1, 2026.

New for 2026

• Returning grant recipients may complete the returning grantee template rather than the full grant request. New applicants must complete the full new applicant grant request template.
• Grant recipients will have the opportunity, but not the obligation, to host fellowship hour after worship service and use that time to promote its ministry to the congregation.

Expectations

• Each grant recipient will provide at least one in-person service opportunity for the congregation or present/participate in our Christian education programs (Adult, Youth or Children).
• Each grant recipient will report with S&J on the use of the funds within 6 months of the disbursement of funds.
